my prediction: since the whole story is told in hatchi’s point of view, and she always goes like “Hey, nana, do you remember when……” I’m guessing that either Nana will die in the end, or something drastically good happens and everything is at peace. however i do think that nana is likely to come to death…

Thanks for the spoilers. I was getting sick of the depressive death spiral the anime was getting into in the late 30s, and figured I’d save myself time to see if they actually write a way out of it — and nope, it’s all dream-crushing despair the whole way down. It’s a shame, I really lighted the lighthearted and sentimental flavor of the first half.
